Dydd Gwener 8fed o Fai 2020 @ 3pm: Llwncdestun y Genedl i Arwyr yr Ail Rhyfel Byd

Ni fydd y dathliadau a drefnwyd eisoes gan y Lleng Brydeinig yn mynd yn eu blaen oherwydd y Pandemig COVID-19. Serch hynny, hoffai Cyngor Cymuned Ystrad Fflur, yn unol a chanllawiau presennol y Lleng Brydeinig, eich annog chi, i ddal i gymryd rhan yn Llwncdestun y Genedl o ddiogelwch eich cartref, er mwyn talu teyrnged i’r miliynau lawer y Deyrnas Unedig a thramor yr aberthodd gymaint i sicrhau rhyddid heddiw.  Gwahoddir chi i sefyll am 3pm a chodi gwydraid neu gwpan lluniaeth o’ch dewis ac ymgymryd â’r llwncdestun canlynol:

“I’r rhai a roddodd gymaint, diolchwn I chi.“

Dyma’r tro cyntaf i deyrnged o’r fath, felly anogwch eraill i ymuno o’u cartrefi.

Friday 8^th May 2020 @3pm: The Nation’s Toast to the Heroes of WW II

Former arrangements undertaken by the Royal British Legion will not take place, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, Ystrad Fflur Community Council, in accordance with current Royal British Legion guidelines, encourages everyone, to continue to take part in the Nation’s Toast, from the safety of their homes, in order to pay tribute to the many millions in the United Kingdom and overseas, who sacrificed so much, to secure the freedom we have today. Everyone is invited to stand at 3pm and raise a glass or cup of refreshment of choice and undertake the following toast:

“For those that gave so much, we thank you.”

This will be the first time for such a tribute to take place and everyone is asked to encourage others to participate from their own homes.
